Juma Lodge

Juma Lodge is one of the finest wildlife viewing lodges in the Amazon around Manaus. Its location on a tributary of the Rio Solimoes, three hours by boat from the city, gives guests the best possible chance of close encounters with Amazon marine, land and bird-life. The remote area is one of pristine Amazon Rainforest, while the Rio Solimoes system shelters more species than the Rio Negro, the other great tributary of the Amazon River. Juma is totally integrated with the Amazon Rainforest environment, and the small lodge provides many activities for the small groups to enjoy, specialising in sport fishing for such species as the peacock bass and dourado. For those who want to experience a high-end wildlife experience yet still have that Amazon feel, Juma Lodge is perfect.
